A team invite is not a purchase code.
The organizer's verified outing already covers the group. Joining does not ask a teammate to buy again, expose another team's progress or transfer organizer authority.
Ordinary companions do not need to install the app. They can make the invitation choice through the coordinated phone-verification path and participate with the Team Lead's phone. A companion needs the native app only to operate as a Team Lead or take an eligible lead handoff.
