Plain-language prelaunch summary

Know the important boundaries.

These summaries describe the current product rules. Complete customer terms, privacy notice and provider instructions will be available before public purchase opens.

Purchases and access

Paid outings are purchased through Apple or Google in the native app. A verified store transaction creates one distinct group outing; a screenshot, shared code or website page does not grant access.

Groups and teams

A standard outing supports up to 12 people, no more than three teams and no more than six people on a team. Each team has its own lead, progress and score.

Unused access and satisfaction refunds

Unused purchased access does not expire. The refund promise covers a full refund for an unused or setup-only outing. The satisfaction promise also covers a partly completed group.

Refunds follow the original Apple or Google purchase channel and return to the original purchaser. A request alone does not interrupt play. Only after a refund is confirmed are new team starts blocked; teams already playing may finish, and completed results remain.

Support can help with the provider process. A separate company-funded reimbursement after a provider denial is not promised.

Privacy and permissions

Invitation membership, phone authentication, gameplay messages and marketing choices are separate. A person controls their own verification and consent choices.

Account deletion

Account deletion can be started through the public verified email-support path. Deletion does not itself request a store refund.

Location

A Team Lead requests a location check by tapping Arrived at a story stop. metrolore does not continuously stream the group's route.

Outdoor play

Players remain responsible for traffic, weather, property rules and their surroundings. Story preparation will include route-specific walking and accessibility guidance before purchase opens.
